Mental fitness and burnout

The total amount of knowledge available in the world doubles every five to seven years. 80 percent of the technology we work with today will be replaced by new products over the next ten years. These figures were published by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. That means every individual needs to be enormously flexible, constantly adjusting to changes both in private life and at work. Mental fitness is crucial to enable us to cope with this burden. Here at DIAGNOSTIK ZENTRUM Fleetinsel we help you to find out where you stand. Are your concentration and memory as they should be? Are there any early signs of overload?

When you are healthy your heart has no difficulty adjusting its rate of beating to the needs of the moment. It beats faster when stressed and slower when relaxed. But if people live under chronic stress the result can be a reduction in the ability to adjust. This may be an indication of potential overload problems – burnout.

24 hour measurement of heart rate variability (24 hour HRV) makes it possible to recognise and treat any abnormalities at an early stage.
